Policy

At Evolution Skincare and Wellness it is our mission to provide excellent service to all of our clients. In order to provide excellent service we ask that you follow the following guidelines:

It is strongly advised to pre-book your services. I rarely have last minute openings. It is preferred that you utilize the online booking that is on my website to ensure that you get the scheduled timeframe you are looking for or you can call or email your appointment request (if you call or email I will require credit card info to book your appointment). If I am unable to accommodate your preferred time it is because the time slot has been filled. I will do my best to work with your schedule.

A Credit Card is required to reserve your appointment time. Your card will only be charged in the case of no shows or late cancellation. I use a secured CC processor. Your information is safe.

As a solo provider I do not accept traditional walk-ins but please always call as I may have availability.

Cancellation Policy

Please understand that this is a business and scheduled time is reserved especially for you. When you forget about or cancel your appointment without giving me enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need, and revenue is lost.

In the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and/or cancellations the following fees will be applied to your credit card on file:

  • Notification given at least 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment time will not receive a charge.
  • Notification given less than 48 hour prior to scheduled appointment time there will be a 50% charge of the service booked.
  • Failure to show up for your appointment i.e. "NO SHOW" will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service amount.
  • As a courtesy I may text your cellphone to confirm your appointment a day before your scheduled appointment. This does not mean that you can forget or avoid contacting me 48 hours prior if you are unable to keep your appointment. Applicable fees will be applied as stated.

Because of the alarming rate of no shows and late cancels Evolution Skincare and Wellness has no choice, but to fully adhere to this cancellation agreement.

Arrival to Appointment

I ask that existing clients arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. You may arrive up to 15 minutes early to enjoy the serene environment Evolution Skincare and Wellness has to offer. New clients, please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for filling out consultation forms. New guests are required to complete a confidential intake process. This allows Evolution Skincare and Wellness to provide the best service possible. You may also be asked to update your information on a regular basis if you have any changes to your routine or changes in health.

Late Arrival

Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time to ensure that the next client's appointment is not delayed. Please understand that I cannot adjust pricing for reduced service time due to a late arrival. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Referrals

I couldn't have a successful business without my amazing clients and their friends. To show my appreciation for you, I offer you a FREE facial for every 3 people you refer to Evolution Skincare and Wellness. After your referral receives their first PAID service, you will receive a FREE facial credit applied to your account. This credit can only be redeemed for 1 facial.

New Clients

New clients are a joy to have in the spa. To entice the skeptics Evolution Skincare and Wellness offers a $50 Introductory Signature facial to ALL new clients. During the service you will be given a treatment plan, product recommendation, and enhancement options. Remember gratuity is not included and highly appreciated for these services.

Cell Phones

Please turn your cell phone off or set on silent during your service time as I want you to enjoy your time, without distraction.

Minors/Children

Unless you are a parent accompanying your teen to their appointment, children are not allowed in the studio. Please understand that the spa is not the right environment for little ones. There are to many things that they may get hurt on and there are other businesses operating in my building and an unsupervised child can be a distraction and a liability.

Sanitization and Sterilization

Sanitization is always a priority. I use hospital grade disinfectants to thoroughly disinfect and clean all of our tools and equipment. If an item cannot be thoroughly sterilized it is thrown away after use.

Method of Payment

I accept Cash & Credit Cards. Cash is preferred. No checks. Prices are subject to applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change. Treatment times are approximate. Gratuities are not included in the service price.

Gratuities/Tipping

Gratuities are entirely at your discretion and are not included in the price of my services, packages, or gift cards. The industry standard in the Spa Industry is 20% to 30%, though never expected, gratuities are always appreciated.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. All gift certificates must be mentioned prior to booking your appointment. Additionally, gift certificates must be presented at your appointment. Multiple gift certificates may not be combined towards a single service or product purchase. Gift Certificates can only be used on full priced services and are not applicable on monthly specials, which are already priced special or for product. Dollar amount gift certificates and online vouchers do not include taxes and gratuity. Gift Certificates are not applicable on product purchases.

Studio Promotions

Monthly specials or Promotions cannot be used or combined with any other offer, promotions or gift certificates.

Product Purchases/Returns

Returns are at the discretion of the Spa owner, and will take all information into account before accepting a return. In the event that the product isn’t working for you a exchange can be made.

Groupon/Living Social Clients

Select Groupon as your service.

A credit card is required to schedule appointments but it WILL NOT be charged.

Thank you for this opportunity to earn you as a client. There are many selections on Groupon and I appreciate you purchasing mine. It will be my pleasure to take great care of you and earn your future business as a regular client. Whether it's your first facial and microdermabrasion or you're well acquainted, I will assess your skin and use products according to your specific skincare needs. You will leave with softer, smoother skin and a feeling of relaxation. I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Groupons are for FIRST TIME clients only. If you've been to Evolution Skincare & Wellness previously, you are no longer a first time client. The purpose of Groupon is for clients to try your services at a discounted price and then return as a regular client.

Cancellations: Please follow the cancellation policy if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to fill the appointment slot. There is a fee for no shows or cancellations with less than 48 hour notice. No shows will not be able to use there voucher for future use.

Expired Vouchers: Expired vouchers are not accepted however the amount you paid never expires. It will be used towards the original cost of the treatment for the services on the voucher. There are no substitutions.

Sometimes people ask if tipping is accepted and how much. Yes. Gratuity is accepted. Please keep in mind the service provider receives half of what you paid Groupon so, for example, if you paid $49, the service provider receives $24.50 for $120 in services. Therefore gratuity becomes a major source of income from clients using Groupon. Groupon is a means of advertising. Groupon vouchers state " Groupon customers tip on the full amount of the pre discounted bill... That's why we are the coolest customers out there. "

In the service industry, it is customary to give your service provider 20%-25% of the original cost of service. This is only a guideline. Tipping is always optional.
